Speed Math combines mental arithmetic with time pressure. The goal is to recognize efficient calculation shortcuts, enter accurate answers, and maintain momentum without sacrificing control.

Read the complete expression, including its operation signs, before calculating.

Enter the answer using the available number controls and submit it once.

Continue through as many problems as possible before the session timer expires.

Type digits with the number row or keypad, use Backspace to correct an entry, and press Enter to submit when the answer is complete.

Use the on-screen numeric keypad and its delete key. Tap submit only after checking the sign and final digit in the answer field.

Correct answers add value and speed supports a stronger run. Incorrect submissions cost time or accuracy, so a steady sequence of correct solutions beats random rapid input.

Later questions may use larger values, mixed operators, or less obvious number pairs. The countdown also makes error recovery increasingly expensive.

Break addition into tens and ones, then combine the partial sums.

For multiplication, use familiar factors and adjust from a nearby easy product.

Pause for a fraction of a second to verify subtraction direction and negative signs.

Starting the calculation before reading the second operator leads to avoidable corrections.
